Vaishya Vani
Vaishya vani community people in kerala are mostly found in West-Cochin,Elamakara, Vaduthala, varapuzha,chittoor,pachalam,mardu etc .This community migrated from Western parts of India 600-800 years before and they speak konkani. Community known as only in name" Vaishya Vani " all over India ,But community name is pronounced by konkani speaking community's in kerala as vaniyan,Vaishya Vaniya, Vaishya(Vaniyan) etc due to only their mother tongue influence/slang.
This Community worship Lord Shiva,Vishnu, Lakshmi & Ganapathi etc Also they are followers of Great Guru Sankaracharya. They are non-vegetarian but abstain from eating pork and beef. Though they are forward cast & are traditionally traders and commercial communities have the right to perform poojas.

See u have missed pachalam in ur list....... in pachalm more than a 100 families of vaishya vaniyans are living.........
In Vaishya Vani- all are not non-vegetarians. They also termed as Vaishya Brahmins. My family is in Vyppin.

my family situated un thrissur but we are migrated in madurai ( tamil nadu)
dear kjj u r getting confused actually the vaishya vaniyan community who use to wear scare thread and speaks konkani are also called in many name vaishya Vaniyan,Vaishya Vaniya etccccc....
